Erase after reading…

Hi everyone, okay, so, I was watching a show sooo many years ago, I can’t recall the name of the show to reference but I do remember this particular character and scene… I think maybe it could’ve been “Younger” a great show. I could be wrong. Don’t quote me on that.
In this scene, this guy is with his friends and he is telling them that he was waiting for his date. Then went on to mention how much he loves older women and that she has like that “neck thing” he likes that particularly women over 50 gets.
His friends look around and reply “neck thing?” And he says something like “yes, you know the chicken neck” I think he says, whatever bird animal has that hanging thing on the bottom. His facial expressions and reaction really expressing he absolutely means what he is saying.
So, they all look at each other, (they’re at lunch, having drinks sitting at a nice restaurant in the scene) with this look of “oooookay whatever floats your boat.”

Just a quick random thought to my readers out there…

I think everyone can say that they have like a weird what’s the word— fetish?

So— can you — or is this not the appropriate place for this particular conversation… But what’s yours?
Like I’ve heard terms where men are considered “breasts men” (sadly for me, it is not a feat i can manage, being in my 30’s and still an A cup), or they love booties (idk how to word that), it’s like crazy interesting. A person may like just the curve of the inner thigh, lust after lips, feet.
Very specific things don’t you think?

It’s even become a kind of… commodity, fetishes that people take advantage of and exploit on some level.
Either way, for me, a woman, personally, it’s body hair on men. It’s as if the Gods built them. Absolutely. When I’m single, it’s a safari out there. Hairy men in shorts. Mama MIA.
Sometimes when I’m masturbating, honestly, I don’t have to actually think about sex. Just the moment where I am imagining I’m with a guy and I rip his shirt open and his chest hair is revealed. I can’t contain myself. I melt. It’s a sickness. I agree.

….And I desperately don’t want to cure it…

There’s other things like, men that have like the cobra shaped body, or are burly, thick, heavy. Hardworking men, coming home in dirty clothes. A man in a classic suit. Oh my god the list goes on.
Oh, I don’t know. That particular scene though just got me thinking though, you know, this is actually normal. It should be. If someone expresses something they like on you, why is that weird?
How could it be unless you get vibes from them that’s odd.
You know, the crazier part of all of this is — I never would’ve discovered this about myself had I never been single. Being in a relationship at such a young age for 11 years (overall, separately) really shifted my life. Kind of like in that scene in Eat Pray Love, where she expresses she needs time to herself, she’s been in relationships since she was 15, and she feels stuck in life, her job, her relationship and she packs up and travels. Powerful. I think lots of women over 30 can feel the same. A lot of single individuals who thought they found their person, but later in life would find.. they did not. So much to rediscover about ourselves after being with someone for so long. Though, I will never complain about being with one person.
Either way, reflecting on just the last 3 years of my newly single life, I wonder, am I a waste at 34 years old for having protected sex and discovering new things about myself through them — ironically?
You know, it was Covid. I was keeping to myself for so long, it became my norm. So focused on working, building my life, a life for myself, planning for me and my mother and rest of my family in my own right. Working on my creative work, tarot, and instagram pages and the likes. It was when I got covid, and experienced those moments where I felt really scared back in 2022 and 2023.
In those moments I really realized, I wasn’t putting myself out there. I had been so focused on everything else but the one thing I truly desired… and it was love… So I got on Hinge when I moved back home. Things would get crazier, making me crazier, but ultimately, I wouldn’t change a thing… besides…

Sex is art in many ways, it’s where passion is born, life is made, love happens, desire is met with chance. I never thought of myself as an artist ultimately, but to share that with someone, the right person. Not just anyone, is not just safer, but perhaps just better for some more than others. Is this blog post too forward?
